エベレストでの遭難事故
Recent climbing of Everest has a fixed rope
to the top of the mountain.
So technically it’s not so difficult to climb.
However, due to the increase in climbers,
many people are losing their lives during
mountain climbing.
If an accident occurred at an altitude of
8000 meter or less on Everest,
It is possible to take the body to the base camp.
But at higher altitudes, the body was left
untouched because it could not be rescued.
It is also possible to carry the body by
helicopter.
However, the air is extremely thin and
the helicopter cannot be obtained sufficient
lift by rotor.
So the rotor can’t lift it over the sky.
最近のエベレスト登山は、山頂まで固定ロープが
張られているため技術的にはそれほど難しくなく
なっています。
しかし、登山者が増加することにより、登山中に
命を落とす人も多くなっています。
エベレストの標高が８０００m以下で、事故で死者が
出た場合には、その遺体をベースキャンプまで
降ろしていくことは可能です。
しかし、それ以上に標高が高くなると、簡単に
行けないために、遺体はそのまま放置されて
しまいます。
ヘリコプターで遺体を運べばよいとも考えられます。
しかし、空気が極めて薄くて、ヘリのローターが
十分な揚力を得られないため、ヘリの本体を上空に
持ち上げることができません。
