■蒙古襲来

In 1274 and 1281, the Mongols invaded Kyushu, Japan.
The Mongol emperor at that time was Kublai Khan.
The purpose of the Mongol invasion was to make Japan
a vassal state of the Mongol army.
30,000 Mongol soldiers landed at Hakata in Kyushu
with 900 warships.
Due to the novel tactics of the Mongol army,
the Japanese side fought in a unilaterally
disadvantageous situation.
At that time, a typhoon happened to come, and
many ships of the Mongol army sank, and many
soldiers drowned.
In both attacks, the Mongol army was similarly
damaged by typhoons.
In the end, the Japanese side came out victorious.
１２７４年と１２８１年の２度にわたって
蒙古が日本の九州に襲来しました。
その当時の蒙古の皇帝は、フビライ・ハーン
でした。
蒙古襲来の目的は、日本をモンゴル軍の属国に
することでした。
蒙古軍３万人が９００隻の軍船で九州の博多に
上陸しました。
斬新な戦法により、日本側は一方的に不利の
状況で戦いました。
この時、偶然にも台風が来たため、蒙古軍の多く
の船が沈没して、溺死する将兵が続出しました。
２度の襲来とも、同じように蒙古軍は台風の
被害にあったのです。
最終的には日本側が勝利をおさめることに
なりました。
