■男性がサメに襲われ死亡

On January 3, 2025, a man was attacked and killed
by a shark in New Caledonia, a French territory
in the South Pacific.
The man was attacked by a shark, left unconscious
and suffering serious injuries to his arm.
The man was taken to hospital on Grande Terre,
New Caledonia’s main island.
However, the emergency department has been closed
since January 1 due to a shortage of staff.
Prosecutors say it is not known what type of shark
attacked the man.
２０２５年１月３日に、南太平洋に浮かぶフランス領
のニューカレドニアで、男性がサメに襲われ死亡
しました。
男性はサメに襲われ、意識不明となり、腕に重傷を
負いました。
男性はニューカレドニアの本島であるグランドテール
の病院に運ばれました。
しかし、救急外来は人手不足のため1月1日から閉鎖
されていました。
検察によると、男性を襲ったサメの種類は分かって
いないようです。
