■バス同士が正面衝突

On April 28, 2024, at least 17 people were
killed and 12 injured in a head-on collision
between two buses in northwestern Honduras,
Central America, firefighters said.
The accident occurred on a one-lane road with
many curves in the mountains.
Here, a large bus and a small bus collided.
The bus was returning from carrying a group
of migrants to the border with Guatemala
and had no passengers.
The small bus that was traveling in the
opposite lane was bound for Santa Rosa de Copan,
about 300 kilometers from the capital
Tegucigalpa, and was full.
２０２４年４月２８日に、中米ホンジュラスの
北西部で、バス同士が正面衝突して、少なくとも
17人が死亡し、12人がけがをしたことを消防隊が
明らかにしました。
事故が起きたのは、山あいのカーブが多い片側
一車線の道路でした。
ここで、大型バスと小型バスが衝突しました。
大型バスは、グアテマラとの国境まで移民の集団
を乗せて行った帰りで、乗客はいませんでした。
対向車線を走っていた小型バスは、首都
テグシガルパから約300キロ離れた
サンタロサデコパン行きで、満員の状態でした。
