Angel Falls is the world’s tallest waterfall
in the Guiana Highlands of northern South America.
Since the head is close to 1000m, the water of the
waterfall does not reach the ground and disperses,
so the basin cannot be made.
Angel Falls is also the setting for the movie
The Lost World.
There is also a small airport where small aircraft
such as Cessna planes can arrive and depart.
To get here, take a bus from the hotel to the boat
stop upstream of the waterfall.
If we take a boat to go to Angel Falls,
It takes 4 hours.
It takes a day from morning to evening to see
Angel Falls.
エンジェルフォールは、南アメリカ北部の
ギアナ高地にある世界で一番落差のある滝
です。落差は１０００ｍ近くもあるため、
滝の水は地面まで到達せずに分散してしまう
ため滝壺が作られません。
エンジェルフォールは、映画「ロスト・ワールド」
の舞台になった場所でもあります。
エンジェルフォールに行くために、セスナ機などの
小型機が発着できるような小さな空港もあります。
ここへ行くには、ホテルからバスに乗り、滝の上流
にあるボート乗り場へ行きます。
エンジェルフォールに行くには、ボートに乗って
４時間もかかります。
エンジェルフォールを見るために、朝から夕方までの
１日かかってしまいます。
