The small village of Seskulo in central
Greece has been affected by extreme
weather caused by wildfires and heavy
rainstorms.
In the summer of 2023, the residents of
this village will suffer such unfortunate
damage.
This resulted in the family’s almond
orchard being burned down.
In recent years, the frequency of severe
storms and floods has increased,
while rising temperatures have made summers
even hotter and drier.
ギリシャ中央部にあるセスクロという
小さな村で、山火事と暴風雨による異常
気象の被害にあいました。
２０２３年の夏に、この村の住民は、
このような不幸な被害にあうことになり
ました。
これにより、一家のアーモンド畑を
焼き尽くしてしまいました。
近年においては、激しい暴風雨や洪水の
頻度が高まる一方で、気温上昇によって
夏はさらに暑く乾燥するようになって
います。
