Tragedy is happening with China’s one-child
policy.
The other day, a story about a Chinese parent
and child spread throughout China and became
a hot topic.
An elderly couple in their late 80s living
in Chongqing, China, had their only daughter
placed in a nursing home.
The elderly couple have requested to leave
the facility, saying they are not used to
living there.
However, their daughter did not agree to this
and refused.
Her father is usually in a wheelchair,
and her mother suffers from severe dementia.
中国の一人っ子政策で悲劇が起きています。
先日、中国のある親子の話が中国全土に
広がり話題となりました。
中国の重慶に住む８０代後半の老夫婦が、
一人っ子の娘に介護施設に入れられてしまい
ました。
老夫婦は、施設での生活は慣れないと言って
施設から出ることを申し出ています。
しかし、娘はそれを承知せず、断わりました。
父親は普段車いすの生活で、母親は重い認知症
抱えている状態です。
