On August 14, 2025, the South Korean
government held a commemorative
ceremony in Seoul to commemorate the
issue of comfort women used by the
former Japanese military.
At the ceremony, South Korea’s vice
minister stated that the issue of
wartime violence is not a historical
issue between specific countries,
but rather that education on the
issue will be enhanced as a universal
human challenge.
２０２５年８月１４日に、韓国政府は、
旧日本軍の従軍慰安婦問題を語り継ぐ
記念日の式典をソウルで開きました。
式典において、韓国の次官は、特定国家
間の歴史問題ではなく、戦時性暴力と
いう人類の普遍的な課題として教育を充実
させる」と述べました。
