■月面探査の着陸候補を絞る

NASA has announced that it has narrowed
down the number of potential sites for
astronauts to land on the moon, aiming
for 2027, to nine.
It has been pointed out that there is
a possibility that ice exists near the
south pole of the moon, which is one of
the candidate sites. If confirmed,
plans are underway to explore whether it
can be used for drinking water etc.
in the future.
NASAは、２０２７年を目標に進めている、
宇宙飛行士による月面探査について、
着陸の候補地を9か所に絞り込んだと発表
しました。
候補地となる月の南極付近は、氷が存在
する可能性が指摘されていて、確認されれば、
将来、飲み水などに利用できるか探る計画
です。
