Japan’s new flagship rocket, H3 No. 2,
was launched from the Tanegashima Space
Center in Kagoshima Prefecture at 9 a.m.
on February 17, 2024.
According to a report from JAXA, the
second stage engine that failed
in Unit 1 successfully ignited and burned.
They also succeeded in separating one of
the two microsatellites.
The aircraft is flying smoothly and has
reached its target orbit.
２０２４年２月１７日の午前９時に鹿児島県の
種子島宇宙センターから、日本の新型主力
ロケットであるH3 2号機が打ち上げられました。
JAXAの報告によると、１号機で失敗した２段目
エンジンは正常に着火して燃焼したとのことです。
また、超小型衛星２基のうち１基の分離にも成功
しました。
機体は順調に飛行し、目標の軌道に到達して
います。
