The Tokyo subway sarin attack was a series of
terrorist attacks that occurred on the Tokyo
subway on March 20, 1995.
This was an indiscriminate terrorist attack
using chemical weapons in a large city, which
is rare in the world.
Members of the religious group Aum Shinrikyo
released sarin, a nerve gas, in the current
Tokyo Metro trains.
In addition to passengers and crew, there were
also many casualties among rescuers.

地下鉄サリン事件は、１９９５年３月２０日に
東京の地下鉄で発生した同時多発テロです。
これは、世界的にもめづらしい大都市での化学
兵器を使用した無差別テロ事件でした。
宗教団体のオウム真理教のメンバーによって、
現在の東京メトロの地下鉄車両内において、
神経ガスのサリンが散布されました。
乗客と乗務員以外にも、救助にあたった人々
にも多くの被害者が出ました。
無差別に化学兵器が大都市に使用されたという
ことで、世界的に大きな衝撃を与えました。
