past virus.
Since December 2019, the number of pneumonia
patients with unknown pathogens began to increase
in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China.
The Chinese government initially covered up
this fact.
As a result, the infection spread from China to
all over the world in a blink of an eye,
and the infection has spread in Japan as well.
The new coronavirus, which causes severe pneumonia,
is a member of the same coronavirus family
as SARS and MERS.
Novel coronaviruses are viruses that cause
widespread infections among humans and animals.
新型コロナウイルスは、過去のいづれのウイルス
にも該当しません。
２０１９年１２月以降に、中国の湖北省武漢市に
おいて、病原体が不明の肺炎患者が増え始めました。
中国政府は、当初において、この事実を隠蔽して
いました。
そのため、またたく間に中国から世界各地に感染が
広がり、日本国内でも感染拡大してきました。
新型コロナウイルスは、重い肺炎などを引き起こして、
SARSやMERSと同じコロナウイルスの仲間です。
新型コロナウイルスは、人間や動物の間で広く感染症
を引き起こすようなウイルスです。
