The Boston Marathon Bombing was a terrorist bombing
\nthat occurred in Boston, Massachusetts, USA on
\nApril 15, 2013 during the Boston Marathon.
\nThe 117th Boston Marathon was held on this day.
\nHalfway through the race, the runners were running
\nto Copley Square near the finish line when suddenly
\ntwo explosions occurred near the roadside.
\nThree people were killed and more than 282 injured
\nin the explosion.
\nFive days after the bombing, police arrested a
\nfugitive 19-year-old suspect in Watertown, near Boston.
\nA 19-year-old man responsible for the bombing was
\nsentenced to death.<\/p>\n
