A capybara is a member of the rodent family
\nwith a body length of more than 1 meter.
\nCapybaras live in grasslands and marshes near
\nrivers in Panama and northeastern Argentina
\nin South America.
\nCapybaras can stay underwater for up to 5 minutes
\nand make cute vocalizations.
\nWild capybaras are preyed upon by jaguars, foxes
\nand condors on the ground.
\nAlligators target capybaras when they swim underwater.
\nCapybaras live in hot areas, but are sensitive to heat.
\nThat’s why they wake up early in the morning
\nwhile it’s still cool and eat some fruit.
\nCapybaras in captivity can live up to 10 years or more.<\/p>\n
