The President of Taiwan began a tour of
Pacific island nations on November 30th,
stopping in Hawaii and other places.
In response, it has been reported that
China may conduct military exercises
around Taiwan.
It is said that the timing of China’s
exercises will be around the time of
Taiwan’s president’s overseas visit.
Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense
has warned that it will use force
if it faces any threat to the Chinese
drills.

を訪問したり、ハワイなどに立ち寄ったり
しました。
これに対して、中国が台湾周辺で軍事演習を
行う可能性があると伝えられています。
中国の演習の時期については台湾の総統の
外国訪問の前後だろうと言われています。
台湾国防部は中国のこの演習に対して脅威に
