On June 3, 2024, the Ukrainian military revealed
that it had successfully carried out a
surface-to-air missile attack on Russian territory
using weapons provided by Western countries.
This announcement came just a few days after U.S.
President Biden authorized Ukraine to use U.S.
weapons only to attack Russian territory around
Kharkiv Oblast in the northeast.
However, it is unclear whether U.S.-supplied
weapons were used in the attack.
