On May 17, 2023, at a school in Florida,
USA, a lawsuit was filed by writers’
groups and parents about the removal of
some books from the library.
It was accused of violating the
constitutionally guaranteed freedom of
speech.
They demanded the return of the removed
books, claiming that they were depriving
students of a wide range of perspectives.
More than 190 books were removed.
