Cape Irago, located in Tahara City, Aichi
Prefecture, is a cape located at the tip of
the Atsumi Peninsula where you can see
Mikawa Bay and the Pacific Ocean at the
same time.
Offshore beyond Cape Irago is the route of
the Irago Channel, and you can see the scenery
of over 100 large ships including tankers
sailing in a day.
The sandy beach located on the Pacific Ocean
side of Cape Irago is called Koijigahama and
has been selected as one of the top 100
landscapes.
The spectacular view of Koijigahama at Cape
Irago is astonishing.
This beach is famous for the story of coconuts
washed ashore.
愛知県田原市にある伊良湖岬は、三河湾と
太平洋を同時に展望することができる渥美
半島の先端に位置する岬です。
伊良湖岬の向こうの沖合には伊良湖水道の
航路があり、１日に１００隻以上もの
タンカーなどを含む大型船舶が航行する風景
を見ることができます。
伊良湖岬の太平洋側に位置する砂浜の海岸は、
恋路ヶ浜と呼ばれていて、風景１００選にも
選ばれています。
伊良湖岬の恋路ヶ浜の絶景は眼を見張ります。
この海岸は、浜に流れ着いた椰子の実の話しで
有名です。
