Daibosatsu Pass is a full-length period novel
written by Nakazato Kaizan, and is said to be
the longest novel in the world.
Daibosatsu Pass, which was the stage of this
novel, is located in Koshu City, Yamanashi
Prefecture, and there is Daibosatsu Ridge at
an altitude of 1897m.
Kaizan Nakazato’s novel was serialized in the
newspaper for 32 years, and Daibosatsu Pass
became more famous.

the shortest course is from Kaminichikawa Pass
on the Koshu City side.
There is a vast view of the Southern Alps beyond
the Kofu Basin and Mt. Fuji to the south.
