Igor Stravinsky is a Russian composer of modern
music.
Stravinsky is known as one of the leading composers
of the 20th century, and was also active as a
conductor and pianist.
Among his works, “Firebird”, “The Rite of Spring”
and “Petrushka” are said to be the three major
ballet music.
In particular, “Phoenix” and “Spring Festival”
are famous and played relatively often.
The music of “The Rite of Spring” has the atmosphere
of being deep in the mountains of Tibet.
In 1913, the performance of “The Rite of Spring”
evoked such a strong response that the theater was
in an uproar.

「春の祭典」の曲は、チベットの山奥にいる
ような雰囲気があります。
１９１３年の「春の祭典」の公演においては、
劇場中が騒然とするほどの激しい反響を呼び
起こしました。
